Draft order faces almost certain shuffle … Its almost a guarantee that there will be some shuffling at the top of the current if the draft were held this week selection order for the 2021 draft. The NY Giants, who would have the #1 pick were the draft held today, for example, will be at home to division-rival Washington, which at 1-4 would have the 5th pick overall in one of tomorrow’s early games. Meanwhile, Atlanta, which currently sits on the 2nd pick, also plays a 1-4 team as the Falcons will be at Minnesota, which holds the 7th selection. and in a 3rd game involving teams currently sitting on top ten picks, #10 Detroit will be at #6 Jacksonville. Elsewhere, the NY Jets, the NFL’s other remaining winless team along with the Giants and Falcons who hold the 3rd pick, will be at 2-3 Miami, while the LA Chargers, who have the 4th pick, are on their bye this week.
