Coming at the draft from a different perspective … Allow me a personal moment. Been covering the draft for 25 years, been following it for almost 50. Tonight will be a little different though. Of course, I’ll still be reporting on the NFL draft, but up here the Ontario Hockey League also has its priority draft of 16-year-olds tonight and my grandson is eligible. Truth be told we don’t expect him to be selected as he is small for his position, but its still nerve-racking as heck. And it gives one a different perspective on what the guys and their families in the green room and across the country go through during their draft. So bear with us if we seem a little distracted!!
