Dolphins unload QB Tannehill to Titans

Dolphins unload QB Tannehill to Titans … First the QB news in Miami after the Dolphins traded QB Ryan Tannehill to Tennessee earlier today. The Dolphins actually received an asset from the Titans in the form of a 2020 4th round pick pick in exchange for a guy they were almost assuredly going to outright release. For the record, the teams also swapped 2019 picks with the Titans actually getting the better pick, #188, a 6th rounder from the Dolphins, while Miami gets #233, a 7th rounder from the Titans. Now the the bad news for the Dolphins is that as of today they have no starting QB at all. The Dolphins had given Teddy Bridgewater a nibble, but the latter chose to resign with New Orleans earlier this week. In fact, right now the only veteran QB that would appear to be even a possibility for the Dolphins is Colin Kaepernick. Of course, the Dolphins are also likely to address the position at the 2019 draft, but with the 13th pick overall, they aren’t really positioned to get one of the top prospects without a trade up.
