DL dominates early GBN Big Board … Needless to say there is still a ton of sorting out to do before we get to the 2019 draft, now less than 250 days away, but the first GBN Big Board of the year is a pretty good reflection of what most people are calling the ‘Year of the Defensive Lineman’. Indeed, the top 5 prospects on our first Big Board – and 6 of the top 7 – are all defensive linemen including DEs Nick Bosa of Ohio State, Rashan Gary of Michigan and Clemson’s Clelin Ferrell, DTs Ed Oliver of Houston and Clemson’s Dexter Lawrence, and Alabama 5T DE Raekwon Davis. Here is the initial posting of our Top 60 prospects for this year’s draft. Of course not all the top players in college football will be eligible for the upcoming draft and GBN Investigative College Football Analyst Larry Parker has posted a listing of the top true sophomores and redshirt freshmen across the country with an eye toward the 2020 draft (which for the record is just over 600 days away!!)
