DE Rousseau, LB Parsons, WER Moore opt out of 2020 season

DE Rousseau, LB Parsons, WR Moore opt out of 2020 season … One of the concerns expressed by many college football observers this summer was that if it started to look like the upcoming season was going to be sort of half-assed because of the coronavirus, then multiple top stars would simply opt out of playing and head straight to draft preparation. That was certainly the case today when three top college stars – Penn State LB Micah Parsons, Miami DE Greg Rousseau and Purdue WR/KR Rondale Moore – all indicated that they will not play this fall and instead will start to prepare for the upcoming draft. Parsons and Rousseau, arguably the two best defensive prospects in the entire 2021 draft class, are both top 5-10 candidates, while the electric Moore is a later first round prospect. At the same time, Auburn senior LB Chandler Wooten also said he won’t play this fall, but will redshirt and try again in 2021.
