Covid continues to mess with football … It looks like the Covid pandemic is going to mess up more schedules than that for the presidential debates. In college football, Baylor has announced that is has suspended all football-related activities to allow for further evaluation of recent positive tests and the completion of close contact tracing. The program did not put a time frame on the break, but team officials say the Bears next game scheduled for October 17th is still on. The Bears have a bye this coming weekend. Meanwhile, the NFL has announced changes to three games over the next couple of weeks. Sunday’s game between Buffalo and Tennessee, for one has been moved to Tuesday evening. The Titans’ game this past weekend was postponed when Tennessee had a Covid outbreak in the organization. The Bills were actually also scheduled to play Kansas City next Thursday night, but that game has been pushed back to Sunday that week. At the same time, Sunday’s game between Denver and New England has been pushed back to Monday, meaning there will be two Monday evening games for a second straight week.
