Auburn QB undergoes surgery and other college football notes … While the football world has been focused on Mobile there have been several developments in college football that could impact future drafts. Auburn junior QB Jarrett Stidham, a leading candidate for the 2019 draft, has undergone a minor surgical procedure on his left shoulder earlier this off-season. The issue is not believed to be serious and Stidham, who considered entering this year’s draft, is expected to be ready for spring practice. Meanwhile, Washington State LB Peyton Pelluer has been awarded a 6th year of eligibility by the NCAA after he missed most of the 2017 season with a foot injury. Prior to the injury, Pelleur had started 34 consecutive games and had almost 200 tackles during the 2015 and 2016 seasons. Virginia Tech RB Travon McMillan has transferred to Colorado and will be eligible next fall as a grad transfer. McMillan had a breakout season in 2014, but saw his production drop in subsequent seasons as he battled a string of injuries.
