College football into the home stretch … With essentially three weeks to go in the regular college football season, the playoff picture is quickly starting to come into focus. It certainly appears that Alabama and Clemson are destined to make the 4-team playoff, while unbeaten Notre Dame certainly controls its own fate, although there are no exact gimmies on the Irish’s remaining schedule. The 4th spot, though, looks like it is still very much up for grabs with as many as a half dozen teams having a legit at squeaking into the post-season that matters.
