Clock ticking on another KO Sunday

November 19, 2022

Clock ticking on another KO Sunday … Interesting week on the NFL schedule with several intriguing match-ups with playoff implications including Dallas at Minnesota, Kansas City at the LA Chargers, and the NY Jets playing at New England. Then, of course, there is that crazy game in Buffalo where the Bills were supposed to play Cleveland, but it had to be relocated to Detroit because of the storm in western New York. At last word, it does appear that the Bills were able to make it out of Buffalo so that looks like a go. At the same time, we will have to wait and see whether there is any movement at the top of the 2023 selection order with only  couple of games involving teams with picks in the top half of the draft. One of those, though, does see Las Vegas, which would have had the 2nd pick overall were the draft held last week, playing at Denver which is sitting on the 7th pick that actually belongs to Seattle. Meanwhile, #6 Chicago will be at #12 Atlanta. Elsewhere, Houston, which would have had the #1 pick overall this week, will be hosting Washington and #3 Carolina will be at Baltimore, while #5 Jacksonville is on its bye week. As usual, the full opening round selection will be updated after this week’s Monday night game.
