CB Terrell, DT Woods pass on Clemson pro days 40s … All 32 teams had reps at today’s pro day workout at Clemson, but two of the top prospects that they came to see – CB Aveion Terrell and DT Peter Woods – opted not to run because of lingering hamstring issues. Terrell indicated that he will hold a private workout closer to the draft. Woods, though, did participate to some degree; indeed, instead of running a full 40, he did a 10-yard split for which he was timed in 1.67 seconds which would have within .01 of the very fastest split for the DTs at the combine. Woods also posted a somewhat pedestrian 29-inch vertical, but had a very good short shuttle time of 4.54. For the most part, the other top Clemson prospects including DE TJ Parker, OT Blake Miller and WR Antonio Williams stood on their combine numbers, although Williams did add a couple of quick shuttle runs to his resume. On the other hand, relatively unheralded LB Wade Woodaz, who didn’t run at the combine, was able to post some solid numbers today including a 4.52 40 with a 1.55 split which would have been faster than backer at the combine not from Ohio State, while QB Cade Klubnik ran a 4.65 time. At the same time, the one Clemson player of note not invited to the combine was C/G Walker Parks who had a decent day; the 6-4.5, 309-pound Parks ran a 5.11 40 and posted 31 reps in the BP.
