Missou DT injured

Missou DT injured in car crash … Missouri junior DT Harold Brantley was reportedly seriously injured in a car crash yesterday.  While a little undersized at 6-3, 280, Brantley is considered to be  a decent second-tier prospect for the 2017 draft with some upfield ability after he posted 54 tackles and 5 sacks last fall.

LSU CB failed drug tests … There are multiple reports this evening that LSU CB Jalen Collins, a late first prospect for the 2015 draft, failed multiple drug tests while at the school, although the details on when and for what are still a little sketchy.

Clemmings stress fracture

Injury concern for Pitt OT … NFL.com is reporting that Pittsburgh OT T.J. Clemmings has a stress fracture in his foot. According to the report, the injury showed up during Clemmings’ medical exam at the scouting combine in February. Could be #1 versus #2 in season opener … The NFL released the full 2015 regular schedule last evening and whether they planned it that way, Tampa Bay and Tennessee, which currently have the first and second picks overall at next week’s draft, face each other in the opening week in Tampa.
