Earlier today, for example, there was a report over at NFL.com that indicated that Cleveland has… Read More »

One of the enduring questions regarding the draft is does anybody really pay any attention to the myriad of mock drafts that blight the internet landscape leading up to the draft. Over the years, people have learned not… Read More »

As the QB turns

Several people have commented that there just doesn’t seem to be as much draft buzz out there this year as, say, last year. And they are absolutely right. RB Prospect Wear & Tear

Much of the de-emphasis on the RB position every year when the Draft rolls around, at least in recent history, is due in large part to the current pro emphasis on passing attacks. But there are some other major factors in play. With the seeming “equal” ability of more players these days chances of grabbing a good RB… Read More »

Clock issues continue: Hargreaves who was originally credited with a 4.52 has now been credited with a 4.41 unofficial time which is obviously a much better time for him.

Alabama guys up with DE/DT/5T Jarran Reed clocking a slowish 5.21 with a sluggish 1.84 split, while A’Shawn Robinson was almost the same at 5.20 and 1,84. In between Texas junior DT Hassan Ridgeway turned some heads with a 5.02 40 with a quick 1.72 split.

Real quick start for PSU DE Carl Nassib with a 1.63 10-yard split with a sort of okay for 5T DE 4.84 full clocking.

Not a great day time for Joey Bosa who had a quick enough split at 1.69 seconds but finished in 4.89. Same story for DeForest Buckner who runs a 5.06 with a 1,78 split.

The combine has posted the official 40 times for RBs which confirms that Georgia’s Keith Marshall had the fastest time at a very quick 4.31. Marshall, in fact, was the only back to break the 4.4 mark as San Jose State’s Tyler Ervin had the next best time at 4.41. Among the top backs, Ohio State’s Zeke Elliott… Read More »

Ole Miss OT Laremy Tunsil will not run today but will participate in positional drills

The top unofficial times in the first group were posted by former UCLA Bruins Caleb Benenoch (4.97) and C Jake Brendel (4.99) along with Michigan State OT Jack Conklin (4.98). Other pretty good times from C Graham Glasgow (5.09), OT Darrell Greene (5.13), OT Le’Raven… Read More »
