Browns wrap top pick … While we were away tending family holiday matters, Cleveland clinched the #1 pick overall at the 2018 draft with a loss to Chicago yesterday afternoon. Meanwhile, the Giants can wrap up the second pic overall, their highest pick since they selected Lawrence Taylor with the second pick in 1981, with either a loss to Washington this coming Sunday or an Indianapolis win over Houston. For now, though, the rest of the early picks for the upcoming draft, at least for this week, won’t be determined until after the Pittsburgh-Houston game this afternoon. As usual, the full opening round selection for this week will be updated after tonight’s late game between Philadelphia and Oakland.
