MARSHALL (8-4) vs. SOUTH FLORIDA (USF) (7-5)
An extra home game for the BULLS, but unless Marshall brings a lot of fans with them, USF won’t fill that stadium, based on their regular season attendance. USF started the season 7-0, but lost their last 5 games. Marshall comes into town with a 2-0 record for games played in Florida in 2018, having beaten both FAU and FIU in conference play. Neither team has a standout QB, which somewhat wastes the presence of some nice receiving prospects. CHARLIE STRONG has a solid reputation for recruiting well, especially in Florida, but on game days, he leaves a bit to be desired. Here’s hoping Strong is better prepared for Marshall than he and/or his team was in the month of November.
