Bonus coverage: Gator QB, ‘Noles DE to watch … Again, as we have noted more than once the one game to watch on this weekend’s college football schedule comes up tomorrow when #2 Ohio State hosts #3 Michigan for the Big Ten East spot in the conference championship game next weekend. In fact, today’s slate of games is actually pretty bland. However, at least from a draft perspective, the Florida-Florida State game this evening (7:30 PM ET on ABC) is certainly worth a look. Certainly, it should be another chance to check out Gators’ QB Anthony Richardson, arguably the most polarizing prospect in the 2023 draft class (if he ultimately decides to turn pro this winter.) Richardson has the best combination of size, arm strength and athleticism of any QB in this year’s draft class, but the productivity just hasn’t been there this fall as he has barely completed 55% of his pass attempts, while throwing 8 picks against just 14 TD passes. This game also offers another opportunity to grade FSU DE Jared Verse (#5, 6-4, 255), who has emerged as one of the hottest prospects in this year’s draft field as the former FCS transfer has posted 7.5 sacks so far this year.
