Boiler WR Moore blitzes pro day workout … Purdue WR Rondale Moore reportedly had a terrific day at the Boilermakers’ workout. Moore reportedly had a 42.5-inch vertical and an unofficial 40 clocking of 4.29 seconds, although he wasn’t all that big when he measured in at just 5-7 but a stoutish 180 pounds. Moore exploded on the scene as a true freshman in 2018, but played in only a handful of games the past couple of years because of injury and covid issues.
LB Derrick Barnes also impressed at the Purdue work out. A three-year starter who led the Boilermakers in tackles this past fall, Barnes looked the part, measuring in at 6-0.5, 238, with 33.5-inch arms, he posted excellent marks of 29 reps in the BP and a vertical leap of 37 inches while clocking a quick 4.57 40 time.
