March 12, 2018

Bills move closer to top pick with Bengals swap … Buffalo appears to has moved closer to being in position to move up further into the top 5 in the 2018 draft with news that they have acquired the 12th pick overall from Cincinnati in exchange for veteran LT Cordy Glenn and the 21st pick in this year’s draft. After trading QB Tyrod Taylor to Cleveland last week there has been speculation that the Bills may be planning to move way up in this year’s draft as they are desperately thin at quarterback. The Bills also still have the 22nd pick as well as two second-rounders and two third-rounders as ammunition to move up to at least the 3rd or 4th spots. To complete the deal, the Bengals will also get a 5th round pick from Buffalo, either the 158th or 166th picks, while the Bills will get the 187th pick in the 6th round. The deal, though, won’t become official until the new league year starts on Wednesday. Update: It is being reported that the 5th round pick the Bengals will get from the Bills is the 158th.
