Big Board tweaked, expanded

Big Board tweaked, expanded … With roughly a month to go in the college football campaign, the GBN Big Board has been updated and expanded to include the top 100 prospects for the draft. Again, note that our ranking does not reflect our own grades for the players, but how we think players are being graded by teams around the NFL based on the latest intelligence we are picking up. And what that intel suggests at this time is that there could be some slippage among the top QB prospects. We still have Bryce Young of Alabama, Kentucky’s Will Levis and CJ Stroud of Ohio State in the top ten, but bot quite as high as they had been. In fact, it appears that the position of choice this coming April could be the edge rushers with 8 DEs or edge-rushing OLBs in the top 32 prospects. That includes several rising prospects including Texas Tech DE Tyree Wilson, who is all the way up to the top ten as well as Florida State DE Jared Verse who transferred this year from FCS Albany. Other players who are ‘up’ on the latest board include Alabama RB Jahmyr Gibbs, WRs Quentin Johnston of Texas Christian and Tennessee’s Jalin Hyatt, Penn State OT Olumuwima Fashanu and Oregon CB Christian Gonzalez.
