Baker to Panthers … Cleveland has finally unloaded QB Baker Mayfield who they traded to Carolina this afternoon for what is being reported a conditional 5th round pick at the 2024 draft. The pick could escalate to a #4 depending on Mayfield’s playing time with the Panthers. Ironically, Mayfield, the #1 pick overall in 2018, will join Sam Darnold, the 3rd pick overall that year, in the Panthers’ QB room which also includes rookie Matt Corral whom Carolina selected at the this year’s draft.
