Jonathan Adams is another one of those very productive second-tier college WRs pro scouts were anticipating getting a longer look during the pro day schedule. However, for Adams the results were somewhat mixed at the Arkansas State workout. On the one hand, Adams, who had 52 receptions and 8 TDs in just 7 games this past season, has the size NFL teams are looking for at 6-2, 214; he’s also a terrific leaper who posted a 39-inch vertical along with elite long jump. However, Adams didn’t run all that well with a 40-clocking in the 4.60 range along with very pedestrian times in both the short shuttle (4.38) and 3-cone drills (7.04).
