Star game roster updates … Maryland junior DT Quinton Jefferson and Kansas State FB Glenn Gronkowski, a pair of 4th year juniors who have already graduated, along with Michigan State DE Lawrence Thomas and North Dakota State OT Joe Haeg have been added to the Senior Bowl roster, while Wisconsin OT Tyler Marz and Texas State CB David Mims will be in St. Petersburg next week for the East-West Shrine game. Of note, though, Alabama QB Jake Coker, a native of Mobile was added to the Senior Bowl roster after he lead the Crimson Tide to the national championship earlier this week. However, just as quickly as his name appeared on the list of accepted invites, it came off. Our intrepid college football investigative reporter Larry P is following up to see what’s going on there. Meanwhile, the NFLPA game has added Michigan FB Sione Houma, Florida OG Trip Thurman, Wake Forest DT Tylor Harris, Florida State ILB Reggie Northrup, Florida Atlantic CB Sharrod Neasman and Appalachian State PK Zach Matics.
