There was an upset of significant proportions when the RBs ran this afternoon as Alabama’s Derrick Henry actually timed a tad better (4.45) than Ohio State’s Zeke Elliott (4.46). That time is a major disappointment for Elliott who was hoping to get under 4.4. To be honest, though, Henry didn’t look as fast or smooth as Elliott, and his times on the TV were listed in the low 4.5 range. Stay tuned . Fastest back today was Georgia’s Keith Marshall who broke the 4.3 mark (4.27) at least for an unofficial hand-time. Meanwhile, Kenyan Drake of Alabama also posted a sub-4.4 (4.36) unofficial hand-time, while C.J. Prosise of Notre Dame, San Jose State scatback Tyler Ervin and Cal’s Daniel Lasco each posted unofficial 4.40 clockings.
