Top prospect day-to-day … Oregon star DE Kayvon Thibodeaux, currently the consensus top prospect overall for the 2022 draft who was injured in the Ducks’ season opening win over Fresno State last weekend, is being listed as ‘day-to-day’ for this weekend’s huge intersectional showdown with #4 Ohio State in Columbus. Thibodeaux reportedly sprained an ankle early in the Fresno State game and spent the second half on the sidelines in street clothes and wearing a boot on his foot. Thibodeaux, in fact, is still being listed as a Ducks’ starter for the Ohio State game, but team officials won’t know for sure whether he’ll be available until later in the week. The good news for Thibodeaux and the Ducks, though, is that even if he can’t play against the Buckeyes, he shouldn’t miss all that much time.
