Chiefs fire G.M. Dorsey … In a surprise announcement, Kansas City has abruptly fired General Manager John Dorsey. The announcement of Dorsey’s firing came barely an hour after the Chiefs had announced that head coach Andy Reid had been signed to a contract extension leading to some speculation that Dorsey and Reid weren’t on the same page and that Reid won a power struggle within the organization especially after the Chiefs made the surprising decision to cut WR Jeremy Maclin, a Reid favorite.
