Top Pick 6 unchanged

November 20, 2016

Top Pick 6 unchanged … There are still games to be played this week, but it appears that there won’t be any changes in the weekly first-round selection order for the 2017 draft. Cleveland inched ever closer to the top pick overall at this year’s draft after losing 24-9 at home to Pittsburgh to fall to 0-11; needless to say the Browns will hold onto the top pick at least for another week. At the same time, whether they win or lose to New England in one of today’s 4 PM games, San Francisco seems assured on holding onto the 2nd pick overall; even with an upset win over the Patriots the 49ers strength of schedule will be weaker than that of the Chicago and Jacksonville, the league’s two-win teams, both of whom lost earlier today.  Meanwhile, the Jets will stay at #5 despite sitting out the week on their bye, while Cincinnati will hold the 6th for another week. As usual the full first round selection order were the draft held this week will be updated after tomorrow night’s Monday nighter.
